Hop on over to our adventure-filled Wallum Sedgefrog Park!
Inspired by the Wallum Sedgefrog, one of Australia’s rarest acid frogs which also reside locally at Aura, this park provides the perfect place for children of all ages to play.
Look carefully and discover a large climbable frog, equipped with twin slides that lead to surrounding lillypads offering a number of activities from a crazy daisy to a bird nest swing, which is perfect for younger children to enjoy. A green parkour course will challenge older children’s balance and let their imaginations run wild in this interactive space.
The park is sheltered by large sails and parents can easily watch children play from an undercover area equipped with picnic tables, plus there are toilets and water fountains nearby.
Beyond the luscious, tree-lined playground is a large green kickabout space, perfect for outdoor fun.
Feel like making a day of it? is an easy 4km walk or ride, which can start at the green, leafy Wallum Sedgefrog Park.
Head along the pathway which is surrounded by nature, and enjoy the main highlights of this walk/ride, which is the natural frog ponds throughout the ride. keep an eye out and listen for the Wallum Sedgefrogs in an afternoon, when they are particularly active (and vocal!). Continue your journey along a path that meanders through a nature strip overlooking the eucalyptus Blackbutt Forest and more frog ponds. You’ll make your way back though a bike lane that follows Aura Blvd to Baringa’s centre, which is the perfect place for a food or drink pitstop, before continuing along the path back to frog park.
With great views over Aura Brook, tails will certainly be wagging at Aura Brook Dog Park.
Fully fenced, this park offers two separate areas, one designed for smaller dogs and the other for larger dogs
