Offering parks and playgrounds within 400m of every home in Aura’s community means that residents certainly are spoilt for choice!
Whilst each space is designed to provide a unique experience for locals, there may be times where additional amenities are required (an outdoor arvo sausage sizzle perhaps?), so we have put together a consolidated list of all Aura parks and playgrounds equipped with BBQs, toilets, shelters and more!
Nestled alongside the Blackbutt Forest, the Baringa Forest Park features state-of-the-art play equipment including a giant eight-metre climbing tower and 60-metre flying fox. This park also includes electric BBQs, toilets and open green space.
Looking for somewhere to host a RAW-some birthday party? Featuring the giant ‘Aura-saurus’ dinosaur play piece for children to swing and slide on with a climbable neck and tail, Dino Park includes mini dino-eggs for younger children to explore, while older kids can uncover fossil designs in the digging pit. This park is equipped with electric BBQs and toilets.
With a beautiful bushland backdrop, this impressive tree themed park includes a rope cargo net and wall for climbing, flying fox, swings, slide, hammock and play elements. There are kickabout areas and a basketball half-court, plus your furry friends will love the dedicated fenced off dog park space. With plenty of undercover shelter, toilets and electric BBQs, this is a truly a park for everyone!
Designed for all levels of skaters and scooter riders, from beginners to intermediate and advanced riders, this street-style plaza features multiple obstacles, ramps and more. The Civic Square features a green kickabout space and feasting table. In the undercover area there are also park chairs with built-in speakers and USB ports to charge your phone, as well as easily accessible toilets.
Children of all ages will have a whale of a good time at this themed playground featuring a myriad of activities such as climbing nets, slide, sand play, basketball half-court and cycle loop. There is a toilet, plus BBQ facilities and plenty of open green space, offering an ideal setting for gatherings.
This bike-themed playground is surrounded by a bike track that features a tunnel, speed bumps, road signage and working traffic lights! The central park includes a climbable tower with slides, see-saw, swings, kickabout area, and basketball half court. There are two sheltered areas equipped with tables and chairs, toilets, and an electric BBQ.
This cubby house adventure park is located next to the Aura Vision & Sales Centre and Display Village. Featuring two climbing trees, three tunnel slides, climbing ropes and more, this park is primely positioned next to the very popular Mummy’s Café. There are also public toilets nearby.
