At Aura, we’re proud to lead the way with a cool roof policy, which not only enhances energy efficiency but also contributes to climate resilience. By prioritising sustainability in our homes, we’re not just building houses; we’re creating havens that support both the wellbeing of our residents and the health of our planet.
This ‘cool roof’ policy requires roof colours to meet specific solar absorbency standards. Light coloured roofs do a great job at reflecting heat, making the homes cooler and more energy efficient. This results in less heating and cooling requirements which also has the added benefit of reducing energy bills for residents.
