Uncover Baringa Forest Park, a tranquil park and playground nestled along the Blackbutt Forest in Aura.
There’s so much to love about this park, from its soaring 8-metre climbable tower through to a sensory junior ropes area and 60-metre flying fox.
Designed for children of all ages, the park’s playground is built for imaginative play, with its challenging eucalyptus leaf-designed tower and giant twin flying fox set. Kids of all ages and abilities will delight at the inclusive Tipi Spinner and two dedicated swing areas, while little ones will keep entertained with an inclusive play zone filled with sensory, social, physical, passive and tactile activities.
Baringa Forest Park is ideal for family gatherings and birthday parties, with undercover shelters, toilets and electric BBQ facilities.
There is an open grassed area and plenty of connected cycle paths, perfect for scooters and bikes. Take your adventure further and explore the rest of this 10ha parkland with its trails and gentle one-kilometre bicycle circuit, making it ideal for beginner riders and hikers alike. The trail will provide an excellent learning foundation for beginner riders wanting to advance to the nearby Sugar Bag Mountain Bike Trails.
For those wanting a nature experience closer to home, a walking trail is provided through the towering canopy of the Blackbutt Forest – immediately adjacent to the Baringa Forest Park playground. In the future the trail will connect to a further 630 metres of boardwalk through vine forest and wet heathland vegetation.
Furry family members will also love that only a short walk away and offering a fully fenced dog off-leash area is Baringa Dog Park.
With great views over Aura Brook, tails will certainly be wagging at Aura Brook Dog Park.
